Totally Write!

The Last Post: Time To Hit The Road

July 28, 2014

Hi, all. As always, I hope this post finds you doing well, with your week off to a good start.

Today’s post is a bit unusual — certainly not what I anticipated when I started doing Totally Write! last year.

This is my last post, at least for a while. It’s time to hit the road, but not because I’m tired of writing this blog or have lost interest. In fact, readership has grown modestly and steadily, to the point where there have been thousands of page views per month of late. I’d love to be in a position to keep going, but things have changed a bit.

I’ve mentioned before that my wife and I, writing under pseudonyms, have been working on a big project for some time. Things are starting to move with respect to that project, which consists of several parts or aspects. I can’t go into details, but between generating about 15,000 words a week of new content, maintaining a website, and a bunch of other responsibilities, I simply no longer have enough hours in the day to devote to this blog.

AngloINFO is going to keep Totally Write! live and active for the time being, so anyone who wants to access my past posts can do so. They’ve also expressed a willingness to have me drop in and add posts when and as I can, even if it’s just one or two a month. I’ve agreed to that. The next six to ten months are likely to be pretty hairy, but I’ll try to pop in for a chat from time to time. If I’m able to pick it up again in the future, I will.

As always, if any of you have questions for me, just email me through the AI links and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading Totally Write! I hope you got something of value from reading it; I know I did from writing it.

Au ‘voir, y’all….:)
