A Colourful Sonnet!

March 12, 2017

I work with Muriel at the “Comfort Zone”, Blackpool. She is a “model” worker!

You are the Litmus Paper of the world

Your hair, we think, reflects your ev’ry mood

Where’er you go, the flag of peace ‘unfurled

The poor you help, providing care and food

This week, you’re “in the pink”, we start to smile

Fine blue we’ve had, we’re waiting for the green!

I’m thinking: yellow, gold…. just for a while?

A motley crew, you’re ‘part of North Shore Scene

I’m giggle-ing, I view your mop of pink

Dear Michael smiles, he’s giving you a TEN

‘Pretend that I am busy at my sink

‘Allow myself a look…. just now and then!

Dear Mu’, we hope you’re always “in the pink”

No better person in the world, we think!      Keep making us smile, Mu!   David A xxxxx
