Madeira Calling!

HOTEL

“Quinta Da Bela Vista”

We stayed in a wonderful “colonial-style” hotel in Funchal: “Hotel Quinta Da Bela Vista”.

Funchal… sunning

No one running

Isn’t Cyprus, no one “gunning”!

Feeling rested, so relaxed

All of this to Kisso’ faxed!    (KM, “Hallo!”)

Some are swimming

Man, hedge-trimming

‘Been for walk, I’m “aching-limbing”!

Warm jacuzzi, ‘need the soak

Posh the accent, Surrey bloke

Bald head burning

Never learning?

For a Coral Beer I’m yearning   (No Leon here!)

‘Nother day, ten thousand steps

Man sips Rum with Coke or Peps’

“Silly Hair Day”

Watch the palms sway

Blonde with tinge of red, it’s her day!

Chelsea top and shorts of blue

Bulls have won, that’s something new!  (“Hello, Bradford!”)

Two, some snoozing  (p.m.)

Many boozing

Sense of reason I’m soon losing!

Swimming, Ouch, it’s rather cold

On my birthday, rather bold?   (50 again?)

Birds are tweeting

Sun’s ray beating….

On a major gen’ral eating

Hotel from colonial days

Dressing gowns, old-fashioned ways.   20.02.2017. xxxx
