First Seen in Cascais “C” January 2015
Every Saturday morning, rain or shine, in the Parque Marechal Carmona in Cascais, the Bio Market Cascais (www.agrobio.pt) opens at 10 am until 2 pm, selling fresh, organic produce and products. The merchants displaying their wares are local growers and sellers who rely on the supply of locally-grown products at reasonable prices. The market has been running for the past 5 years attracting large, and increasing, numbers of customers, both Portuguese and foreigners. Items on sale include vegetables of the season, locally grown fruits, as well as organically produced bread and cakes. Discount cards are available for order on the agrobio website and entitle consumers to 10% discount on all purchases.
